We Believe that the Bible’s Old and New Testaments are the inspired word of God and must be our unique and supreme authority for life and faith. (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We Believe in One eternal God existing in three (3) Persons, equally omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1, 26; Matt.3:16-17; 28:19; John 10:30; 14:16)
We Believe that Jesus-Christ, born of Mary, is truly God and truly Man. He lived a perfect life and died on the cross for the forgiveness of the sins of the world. He resurrected from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God where He is the sole Mediator and the High Priest for those who believe in Him. (Is. 7:14; Luke 1:35; I Peter 2:24)
We Believe in the imminent return of Jesus-Christ. The universal church, which is His body, will be lifted up to meet Him in the air before the Great Tribulation and the establishment of His Millennial Kingdom. (I Thess. 4:13-18)
We Believe that the Holy Spirit is a person. He convicts men of sins and baptizes in the body of Christ those who believe in the Lord Jesus-Christ. He leads them in all truths and dwells within the believers to guide them to a victorious life over sins. The Holy Spirit seals the believers for the day of redemption. (John 16:7-15; I Cor. 2:9-14; 6:19-20; 12:1-30; 14:20-22; Eph. 1:13-14)
We Believe that the church, the body whose Christ is the Head, was established on the Day of Pentecost and is composed of all true believers from that day until the return of Christ. The church as the bride of Christ must glorify Him by seeking to make disciples of all nations by the preaching of the Word of God. (Eph. 1:3-6, 22-23; I Cor. 12:12-14; Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; 2:42-47)
We Believe in the reality of Satan, the enemy of God and men. We believe that he is not all-powerful and that his eternal destiny is already determined by the great Victor Jesus-Christ. (Job 1:6-7; Mark 1:13; Luke 10:18; Acts 5:3; II Cor.11:14; 1 Thess. 2:18; Rev. 12:9; 20:2)
We Believe that man was created innocent, but by his voluntary act if disobedience has brought physical and spiritual death on all humanity. He is entirely incapable of saving himself and be justified before God except through faith in Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. (Gen. 1:27; 2:15-17; Rom. 3:23-24; 5:1; Eph. 2:1-10; Acts 13:38-39; Titus 3:5-6)
We Believe in the eternal security and happiness of the redeemed. (John10:28-29; 17:24; Rom. 8:18)
We Believe in the eternal punishment of the lost in the lake of fire which is prepared for Satan and his angels. (Revelation 20:11-15)
